Angola is one of Africa’s leading energy producers and the second largest crude oil producer in Sub-Saharan Africa. The oil and gas sector accounts for the majority of the country’s exports, government revenues, and foreign direct investment. At the same time, Angola is pursuing economic diversification, infrastructure development, improved energy access, and job creation as part of its long-term development agenda.
