The Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP) represents all segments of the petroleum industry, was established in 1963 to promote and coordinate the activities of the oil and gas sector in Pakistan. Currently the Institute consists of 21 Industrial Collective Members and 81 Private Individual Members. Policy advocacy, capacity building, research, publications, seminars, workshops, and conferences are the main activities. The PIP Pakistan Energy Outlook report forecasts the energy demand and supply of the country over a 25-year period highlighting the dynamics of the energy landscape of the country and proposing solutions for its energy issues.
