Ashraf Al Ghazzawi

Ashraf is the Executive Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development at Saudi Aramco. 
His organization is responsible for strategic planning, sustainability, new energies, M&A transactions, new business development, and the establishment of national champions. 
Prior to his current role, Ashraf was the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Market Analysis, where he led corporate strategy development, investments planning, global energy market analysis, and Enterprise Risk Management. 
Ashraf also held various positions in the finance organization where he was Saudi Aramco Group Treasurer and the Vice President of Planning, Budgeting and Performance Management, where he played a leading role in the development of Saudi Aramco IPO, as well as Saudi Aramco’s inaugural corporate bond program that represented the company’s first ever entrance to equity and debt capital markets. 
Ashraf also held leadership positions at various organizations covering research & development, engineering, and capital planning. 
Ashraf is the Chairman of the Board of Sadara Chemicals Company, Aramco Ventures, and the Saudi Aramco Development Company. He is also a board director in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH). 
Ashraf has been with Saudi Aramco for over 30 years. He has a PhD in Engineering from the University of Manchester, and
