Ziad Al-Murshed

Mr. Ziad T. Al Murshed became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in May 2022. He previously held leadership roles including Vice President of Fuels & Lubricants, International Operations, and Downstream Growth & Integration. He began his career in 1991 in the Upstream business, transitioning to Downstream in 1998. His experience includes roles at Ras Tanura Refinery, Corporate Planning, and Strategic Business Development.  

Mr. Al Murshed has held board positions at numerous companies, including Waed Ventures, TAQA, ARLANXEO, S-Oil, Motiva, Sadara, IMI, and Modon, among others. He currently serves as Director on the Board of SABIC, Chairman of Wisayah Global Investment Company, and Manager of the Board of Global Digital Integrated Solutions Company. 

He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University, an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
