Manal AlBawardi

Manal Albawardi is the Chief Information Officer at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), where she leads the university's digital transformation and technology strategy, with a focus on AI, automation, data, and next-generation digital experiences. Prior to KFUPM, Manal built extensive experience at Saudi Aramco, contributing to complex technology and transformation environments within one of the world's leading energy companies. Her career has given her a unique perspective on the intersection of technology, energy, organizational change, and the future of work. Beyond her executive role, Manal is a strong advocate for women's advancement and economic participation. She currently serves as President of the Businesswomen Council at the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce, supporting women in leadership, entrepreneurship, and emerging sectors. She is particularly passionate about how AI and digital technologies can move beyond efficiency to fundamentally reshape how organizations operate, how people experience services, and how future leaders are empowered.
