Eng. Ahmed Ali Alsubaey

Eng. Ahmed Ali Alsubaey is Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Bahri, the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia, where he leads the execution of the company’s strategy and business growth, strengthening Bahri’s global position across maritime transportation and logistics while supporting the Kingdom’s growing role in international trade and global supply chains.

He brings more than four decades of leadership experience, having held senior positions across Saudi Aramco and its international operations before joining Bahri as CEO in 2022. His previous roles include Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Supply Planning at Saudi Aramco; President of Saudi Petroleum Ltd. in Tokyo; President and Chief Executive of Saudi Petroleum International Inc. in New York; and CEO and Representative Director of S-OIL Corporation in South Korea.

Eng. Alsubaey holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Northern Arizona University, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and an Executive MBA from Stanford University.
