Cultural & Technical Tours
25ᵗʰ WPC Energy Congress – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 11-15 October 2026
Discover the city behind the world's energy future.
Join guided tours of Riyadh each morning and evening during the 25th WPC Energy Congress — from historic Diriyah to a behind-the-scenes look at Saudi Aramco, SABIC and KAPSARC.
These tours are open to registered congress delegates only and are not available to other attendees or visitors.
Seats are limited to 50–100 per route — early registration is recommended. Reserve at the Main Registration Desk (Walkway 3, between the Hall 4 exits), which opens daily at 7:00. Ushers will guide you to the desk. Full, live tour timings are available on the 25th WPC Energy Congress mobile app.
Morning technical tours
For delegates wanting a closer look at the organisations driving the region's energy sector, three technical routes run each congress morning. Each bus is accompanied by a specialist delivering an on-site technical briefing, a dedicated coordinator,
and refreshments on board.
Morning schedule, hour by hour
12 - 15 October
Evening cultural tours
As the congress day winds down, step out into Riyadh itself. Two evening routes take delegates through the mud-brick heritage of Diriyah and the city's historic core — a chance to experience the culture, history and hospitality of Saudi Arabia. Every evening route departs from and returns to the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center (RFECC) assembly point, and includes a local tour guide, a dedicated coordinator, and light refreshments on board.
Heritage Trail — Diriyah
Step into the birthplace of the first Saudi state. Wander Bujairi Terrace, the restored mud-brick walls of At-Turaif — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — and the Bab Samhan district, guided by a local storyteller.
Downtown Riyadh & National history
Trace the city's founding story, from the walls of Al Masmak Palace to the bustle of Al Maigliah Market and the halls of the National Museum of Saudi Arabia.
Evening schedule, hour by hour
12, 14 & 15 October
* After 15:00 each day, the counter will start registering exhibitors as well, based on available capacity.
** All trips drop off all the guests at Riyadh Front.
