Hussein Shoukry is the President of Siemens Energy in the Middle East
and Africa, a role he assumed in December 2025. Siemens Energy’s
operations in the MEA region span 29 offices and employ more than 
4,000 people. 
Previously, Hussein served as Senior Vice President for Project Execution 
at Siemens Energy, leading a team of over 3,500 professionals to 
execute and deliver large, complex turnkey projects globally. He also 
oversaw the company’s global Competence Centers, with major hubs in
India, Romania, and Mexico.
Since joining Siemens in 2003, Hussein has held leadership roles across 
Siemens and Siemens Energy in tendering, engineering, 
manufacturing, and project execution. Born in Egypt, he has worked in
Europe and the Middle East and has led major companywide strategic 
and transformation initiatives, shaping a nuanced understanding of the 
energy transition. These insights continue to inform his leadership at 
Siemens Energy. 
He also on the boards of several Siemens Energy subsidiaries, including 
Siemens Energy LTD Saudi, Siemens Energy WLL Qatar and is the 
Chairman of Siemens Energy Egypt SA.
Hussein holds a degree in Construction Engineering from the American 
University in Cairo
