Pietro Di Maria is Principal Consultant, Energy Transition Markets at EPAM Systems, where he helps energy and utility companies translate strategic priorities into technology-enabled transformation. He brings 25 years of experience across the energy value chain, combining executive leadership with Tier-1 consulting expertise. Pietro previously served as General Manager and Board Director of a UK energy supplier, with responsibility for a business generating more than €400 million in annual revenue, and held senior consulting roles. His experience spans energy retail, power generation, regulated networks, e-mobility, digital transformation and operating model design across the UK, Italy and wider EMEA region. He has led complex business transformations, market-entry programmes and post-merger integrations, working at the intersection of commercial strategy, operations and technology. At EPAM, Pietro focuses on helping energy organisations use data, AI and digital partnerships to improve performance, accelerate innovation and navigate the transition to a more flexible, customer-centred energy system.
