Palmer Giddings

W. Palmer Giddings is Head of Global Joint Ventures and International Marketing at LyondellBasell, appointed in June 2026. He holds responsibility for the company’s Polymers joint ventures worldwide — including its Saudi Arabian ventures — together with the International Marketing organisation spanning Sales, Marketing, Operations Planning, Applications Development and Technical Services, and Customer and Commercial Excellence across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, India and Turkey. 

He joined LyondellBasell in 1993 as a Technical Sales Representative at the Cincinnati Technology Center and has since held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, strategic planning, acquisition and integration management, supply chain, and commercial management across North America, Europe and Asia. With more than three decades in the global petrochemicals industry, he brings deep knowledge of chemicals, polymers, refining and global supply chains. 

Mr. Giddings will represent LyondellBasell as a Strategic Session Speaker at the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, contributing to the session “Downstream and Petrochemicals: Transformation and Demand” on 13 October 2026.
